SunFest 2017: Where Music Meets the Waterfront
SunFest 2017 is one of West Palm Beach’s most popular events every year, and Gulfstream Boat Club members can skip the road traffic and travel there by renting a boat to enjoy this music concert on the waterfront.
Kids are welcome (under 5 are free), and this year’s Sunfest 2017 lineup is diverse and includes acts from Steve Winwood to Flo Rida to Ziggy Marley.
Held May 3 to 7, SunFest 2017 features 5 days, 3 stages, and 50 bands.
Rent a boat from Gulfstream Boat Club with four boat club locations to choose from:
Delray Beach
Boynton Beach
Lantana
South Palm Beach
You’ll have the best seat in the house at Sunfest 2017!
Boaters are welcome to anchor in the Intracoastal in front of SunFest 2017 site and take a water taxi to the festival’s waterfront gate.
If you’d like one of our captains to dock and drop you off, vessels are permitted to drop off and pick up guests Wednesday through Sunday at the loading and unloading area located on the South Dock.
Vessels will not be permitted to tie up for any other reasons. North and Middle Docks will not be open to any vessels unless previously approved by SunFest.
And did we mention there are floating bars?
The Downtown West Palm Beach “Waterfront” along Flagler Drive features three floating “bars” with specially crafted drinks, great times, and amazing music from local DJs!
Other events include the “TGI5K” race held Friday night and the Pairings Food & Wine event Thursday night.

SunFest closes the weekend with a spectacular BB&T Fireworks Show Sunday, May 7 at 9 p.m.
This fireworks display is one of the most talked about events of the festival, and one of the largest fireworks shows on the East Coast.
Whether you attend in a Gulfstream Boat Club boat rental or the old-fashioned way (by car), SunFest 2017 is not to be missed.
